Designer Dana Lorenz created FALLON in 2008. After obtaining degrees as a painter from the University of Iowa and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dana entered the fashion industry, working for Gucci and Donna Karan. Jewelry design started as a personal endeavor, but her pieces quickly grew a cult following and press and retail attention followed. With a story in American Vogue about the launch, FALLON was soon carried at top retailers worldwide, including Barneys, 4510, 10 Corso Como, Boon the Shop, Harvey Nichols and Lane Crawford.
FALLON is a designer jewelry collection of graphic layering pieces. The collection evokes the aspirational feeling of fine jewelry, but with a clash of pop references and street sensibility. The collection is designed to be mixed, layered and collected season after season.
Dana has collaborated with ready to wear designers like Proenza Schouler, Thakoon and Prabal Gurung for runway, and occasionally does limited edition capsule collections for retailers such as Opening Ceremony and JCrew. She designs custom pieces for Rihanna, Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and Miley Cyrus and other celebrities for performances and appearances.
Italian Vogue recognized Dana as one of their “New Talents” and was twice celebrated at Milan Fashion Week with the publication. She was nominated for the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Accessory Designer of the Year Award and was a 2011 finalist for the coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
Dana resides on the Upper East Side in Manhattan with her two long-haired miniature dachshunds, Blitz and Benson.
